Whether you are facing a technology or intellectual property issue yourself, or you are an attorney considering whether a matter should be referred out, I would welcome the chance to talk with you about it.
I am a technology and intellectual property attorney based in Chicago, working with clients on matters involving AI, copyright, trademarks, domain names, and the broader landscape of internet and emerging technology law. As an adjunct professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law and an arbitrator with the World Intellectual Property Organization, I bring both practical experience and a deep understanding of how the law is adapting to new technology, including a sense of where it is headed, not just familiarity with the current rules.
Many of my new matters come from other attorneys who know this is where I focus. I practice at an IP boutique, and my work stays intentionally narrow: domain names, technology agreements, copyright, trademark, and internet law, rather than the broader scope of business or corporate representation. If you are an attorney weighing whether a piece of a client’s matter falls outside your comfort zone, I am happy to be a sounding board or a referral partner. My goal is to be useful on the specific issue, not to become your client’s next lawyer.
